Artist Statement

Bay-Area based Photographer

I create photographic art with digital and film. I use film photography to preserve the older art form and keep challenging myself as an artist. I create digital photographs from family portraits, creative work to real estate. I do photography because it helps me express myself, but also change people feelings and perspectives on photographs of themselves.

I first picked up a camera at the age of 12 when my parents bought me a little battery powered digital camera. I began to learn more about it at 14 in high school and started to really dive into the art form. Going onto almost 10 years of experience I've grown a lot as a photographer and as an artist. I recently achieved a BFA in photography at California State University, East Bay. After a long journey in school starting to study film I decided to give that up and end with my first love, photography. I currently do real estate photography for Next Door Photos full-time, while creating my own business with my work and my brand.
